• Jun is very shy when it comes to romance and girls. He's not good at
  expressing his emotions to them (quite ironic thinking of his roles so
  far!).
• Many people say that Jun is so dedicated to his acting that he stays
  in character for the duration of the filming even during the variety
  shows.
• He is very devoted to Arashi, and has been quoted by one of the
  bandmates as "if Arashi was in a building and it collapsed, Matsujun
  would be the one holding up the pillars so the other members can
  escape!"
• Jun is a victim of what is despised by all of us: myopia! He wears
  contact lens while working so he'll look good, but outside work he is
  frequently seen in spectacles.
• Unless he initiates it, Jun is not comfortable with other people touching him.
• Jun is not a very friendly person...he won't approach a person unless
  the person makes the first move. He keeps to the people he knows well.
• He likes to cross his legs while sitting.
• Because many Arashi fans were lured into Arashi by Jun (usually
  Gokusen, Hanadan or KWP), fans have nicknamed it the 'jun-bait'.
• Aoki Kotomi, the author of the manga 'Boku wa Imouto ni koi o Suru',
  confessed to being so excited that she nearly fainted when she found
  out that Jun was chosen to play the lead role of the twin brother,
  Yori.
• Jun is quite a big fan of the Harry Potter franchise.
• Jun seems to have this anime/manga thing going on in his screenwork!
• His personal time is from 12am - 3am.
• He is good in football.
• He likes dry plums so much that he snatches them away from Aiba.
• He is never able to sleep whenever he room with Aiba or Nino, because
  Aiba grinds his teeth and Nino howls in the middle of the night. (note:
  Take this with a pinch of salt!)
• Jun is very emotional and can cry while watching a movie. However, he
  doesn't like to cry and feels very embarrassed if he does so in front
  of others.
• Once he almost got blown away while holding a flag.
• His best friend in Arashi is Aiba.
• Jun is the first Japanese male to make it to the cover of the
  Japanese Marie Claire magazine. The only guys to grace the cover in its
  24-year history has been foreign superstars including David Beckham.
• Jun didn't go through an audition to get into Johnny Jrs. Although
  the usual process is that the boys will have to go through auditions,
  Jun got a personal call by Johnny himself, to come and watch the
  auditions. After that, he just got in without knowing it.
• When he was in second grade, he ran out onto the road and was knocked
  over by a van. Little Jun was severely injured, but he was as chirpy
  and cheerful as he could be. When the ambulance arrived, he kept
  apologising to the uncle, saying he was naughty for running out onto

• Jun is very picky about movie/drama scripts, and will only act the roles that interest him.
• Jun is something of a fashion guru...he is known as the most stylish dresser in Arashi.
• He didn't like the HYD curls as much as any of us because of the
  fashion problems it posed him. When he was on set, it was fine because
  he had costumes, but once he was out of the set, he couldn't find
  anything in his wardrobe to compliment his curly hairstyle.
• Little Jun used to idolise Sho.
• If you like Oguri Shun (Hanazawa Rui and Uchi), hear this: Shun got
  the role as Rui because Jun told the producers that if they didn't give
  Shun the role, he wouldn't act as Domyouji. In real life, Jun and Shun
  are good friends, all the way from the Gokusen days.
• 
  Jun used to have a room so messy that sometimes when he slept, he
  would jerk awake when clothes fell onto his face. Now, though, he has a
  sort of clothesline above his bed, and he just reaches up and grabs
  clothes that he wants to wear, saying that it's a lot more convenient.
•  Jun's ideal summer activity is to drive to the beach and play with a dog...even though he doesn't have a dog.
•  He worries quite a fair bit about Arashi and how the public will respond to them, especially overseas fans.
•  One of the reasons why Jun took on the role of Domyouji Tsukasa was so that Arashi could release a new single, 'WISH'.
•  Jun would prefer to go dutch on dates.
•  He doesn't like kids, but he wants them...in the future!
•  Jun finds Mandarin extremely difficult. No matter how much he tries to memorize the words, he always forgets them easily.
•  Surfing is one of Jun's hobbies. His so-called 'mentor' is Yamaguchi Tatsuya of TOKIO.
•  Sato Atsuhiro is a very respected senpai of Jun's. He feels that they
  are 'fated' to be friends because they share the same birthday and
  hobbies.
•  Towards the end of filming HYD 1, Jun returned to the set in a
  sweater and spectacles to give Inoue Mao flowers at her last scene even
  though his own part had ended earlier than hers.
